The United Way of Greater Toledo is teaming up with community partners to provide meals to school-aged children while schools in Ohio are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Connecting Kids to Meals is working to create 15 sites throughout the county where parents and guardians can pick up meals. Additionally, the organization will distribute 12,000 weekend snack bags. These services are in addition to Toledo Public Schools’ program serving meals to students at eight locations.
